Student One followed the directions for the writing assignment. He wrote a story about a time he was scared. He can work on using capitals at the beginning of a sentence and proper punctuation. I would have this student practice correcting sentences so he could point out problems with a pre-written sentence. I would also try to help Student One with developing his thoughts. I would provide him with descriptive words along with an image so that he could try to include these in his writing. I would also give him sentence starters for his writing so that he had more support with organization.
